Melissa is an empathetic, supportive partner in your path to healing, restoration or relational growth. She is authentic and down to earth in the way she communicates, using empirically based methods including cognitive behavioral, solution focused, emotion focused and Gottman Method tools to meet the goals we set together.
After graduating from Eastern Oregon University in 2009, she began working for the Department of Defense with Army Battalion and Brigade level command teams to develop risk reduction tools to implement behavioral change in Soldiers and families that required intervention. She spent time working with many agencies providing support mechanisms to achieve healthy lifestyles.
Upon graduating with her Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling in 2016, she began working with couples and individuals seeking relationship support as well as betrayal trauma recovery using a wide variety of methods including support groups and counseling. She continues to enjoy developing her counseling techniques through robust continuing education and is excited to partner together with you in your journey to personal and relational health.
